## What do you get when civic engagement meets cutting-edge technology?

You get Polco - and the world is starting to notice.

We’re thrilled to share that Polco has been recognized by [**The FutureList**](https://www.thefuturelist.com/), a leading voice in global tech innovation, as a trailblazing company transforming how governments engage with residents, gather insights, and make better decisions. In their latest *Innovation Memo*, [The FutureList spotlighted Polco](https://www.thefuturelist.com/innovation-memo-with-polco-powering-data-drive-governance-with-community-insights/) as a standout platform redefining data-driven governance—and we couldn’t agree more.

*"Polco is making public engagement more inclusive, transparent, and actionable."**

### 🔍 Why we caught their attention

The FutureList team spoke with our Co-Founder & CEO, Nick Mastronardi, and Director of Customer Success, Garrett Hernandez Rimer, to dig into the magic behind Polco. Here’s what they discovered:

- [**Community Analytics**](https://info.polco.us/platform/track) that reveal resident needs and trends at a glance
- [**Benchmark Surveys**](https://info.polco.us/platform/benchmark-surveys) like The National Community Survey (NCS) to track public sentiment
- [**Budget Simulations**](https://info.polco.us/platform/simulation-tools) that empower residents to model real-life policy tradeoffs
- [**AI-Powered Tools**](https://info.polco.us/platform/ai) that turn raw data into real guidance
- [**Scalable Engagement**](https://info.polco.us/platform/resident-engagement) for communities of every size—from small towns to state agencies

Whether it's budget decisions, grant writing, or strategic planning, Polco puts data and public input at the center of decision-making—where it belongs.

### 🧠 Our mission: civic smarts + civic heart

Nick said it best in his interview:

*“We want to reinvigorate a sense of civic agency, making Polco a safe space where you can have a voice in your government.”*

At a time when trust in government is polarized, Polco’s goal is simple and bold: bring residents and leaders together through data, transparency, and actionable dialogue. From our resident-friendly dashboards to our AI-powered assistants like Polly and Grace, we’re helping governments tap into the wisdom of their communities—clearly, quickly, and credibly.

### 🌍 A global platform with local impact

Today, Polco supports over **1,000 local governments**, **eight state agencies**, and partners in **Canada, New Zealand, and the Dominican Republic**. From town halls in Tennessee to housing plans in Santa Barbara County, Polco’s tools are already shaping smarter, more responsive governance.

**And we’re just getting started.**

### 👏 Thank you, FutureList

It’s an honor to be recognized by a platform that champions bold ideas and breakthrough technologies. Being named to The FutureList affirms that civic innovation *is* tech innovation—and that the future of government is brighter when it’s more informed, inclusive, and data-driven.

We’re incredibly proud of our team, our partners, and the communities we serve. And we’re excited to keep building the tools that make democracy work better for everyone.
