Humans have always liked to gather around a hearty meal.  Civilization became possible once we learned to produce abundance of food.  We prepared our meals in creative ways and used food to shape our cultures and build communities.  Today we continue to celebrate holidays around the feasting table, especially on Thanksgiving.
