 Written by [NRC](https://blog.polco.us/author/nrc) | December 19, 2016

On a chilly winter's day

Were many things in Santa's sleigh,

Even a little Poetry

From your friends at NRC!

### **There Once Was a Survey**

*- A Limerick By Jenn Roche -*

There once was a survey sent out

To citizens, it went all about

Results came in

With smiles and grins

Responses the City would tout!

### **If I’ve Learned Just One Lesson**

***- **A Rhyme By Tom Miller -*

If I’ve learned just one lesson,

It’s be sure to ask a question.

Don’t complain or hate the answer,

Each result is your advancer.

You don’t have to be afraid,

That you’ll rate a lousy grade.

Lousy grades are in the mind,

No matter how the rates combine.

And knowing what your public thinks,

Frees from chains and welds good links.

To make your town more livable,

Survey now! It’s our deliverable!

### **Voices of Action**

*- A Haiku by Angelica Wedell -*

Chorus of voices

Answer resident surveys

Inspiring action
