Whether it’s Halloween or any other time of the year, meaningful treats at work can make a job feel special and fun. After surveying hundreds of local government professionals across the US about their own employers, we understand how important it is for organizations to show appreciation for their staff. We’ve seen that recognizing and thanking employees for their contributions leads to greater motivation, collaboration, improved retention, and a more positive workplace culture overall.
A crowd-favorite tradition at National Research Center / Polco is our annual Cookies and Costumes office party. It’s one way we like to treat our dedicated employees who give us their time and expertise. We also know that sometimes it’s the little things that really count.
