National Research Center, Inc. (NRC) staff is a talented group, especially Marketing Manager Angelica Wedell. Recently, Angelica was awarded with a Cammy Award at the Colorado State University Media Festival. The festival is hosted by the Alumni of Journalism and Media Communications at CSU and named for the college’s mascot, Cam the Ram. The Awards are given to recognize the continued career achievements in journalism and multimedia of alumni. Wedell, an alumna of CSU submitted original multimedia works to the festival board. Angelica was recognized with the Award of Excellence following the exemplary submission below.
NRC staff rejoices in the well-deserved recognition of one of their own.
“Angelica is an all-star media expert and leader in this field,” said NRC President Tom Miller. “Her willingness to promote others and share her media knowledge has brought NRC so many more partners and friends that our business relationships have boomed under her guidance.”

She has helped us create partnerships and collaborations not only with our clients, but with other organizations also striving to help communities build on their strengths.”

“Angelica excels at using multimedia at NRC. She has revamped The Civil Review and helped us all engage on social media. She also utilizes video and webinars to provide helpful and timely information,” Survey Consultant Ashly Perez de Tajada. “She is excellent in her role as she brings so much prior experience to NRC. Through her regular engagement with our clients, Angelica learns what’s important to them and directs our marketing in a way that suits the way they want to receive information, making our marketing not only relevant but helpful.”

The 102nd ICMA Conference took place in September 2016.
