Understanding Your Overall Results

Once a survey has closed, you can click on the survey and scroll down to view the results. You’ll see three tabs: ParticipationResults, and Advanced Results

1. Participation Tab

The Participation tab provides insights into who responded to your survey. Here you can view:

  • Response trends over time
  • Verified responses
  • Demographic breakdowns by gender, age, and race
  • Respondents' locations on a map

This helps you gauge the representativeness of your survey and adjust future outreach efforts if necessary.

2. Results Tab

In the Results tab, you’ll find a detailed breakdown of responses to each survey question. You can:

  • View responses from all participants.
  • Filter results to show only responses from registered voters or subscribers to your Polco profile. This gives you a high-level overview of the overall sentiment on each question.

3. Advanced Results Tab

The Advanced Results tab provides deeper insights by allowing you to break down responses by specific demographics like gender, age, and location (e.g., voter precinct). Use these breakdowns to see how different groups responded to individual questions, helping you understand variations in preferences and opinions across your community. You can filter the data by question using the dropdown menu and view demographic-specific insights.

By using these three tabs, you’ll gain a comprehensive understanding of your survey results and how various groups in your community responded, enabling more informed, data-driven decisions.
