If you're reviewing a benchmark survey on Polco and notice that the "Participants," "Results," and "Advanced Results" tabs are hidden, it's because the survey has moved past the active data collection stage.
Here's Why:
During active data collection, these tabs display real-time responses from the online surveys. However, once the data collection is complete and the final Tableau report is posted (including tabs like "PDF of Report," "About," and "Methods"), the initial tabs are hidden. This happens because the Tableau report includes the final, weighted data, which combines both online and paper survey responses. Weighted results are more accurate and representative of your community's demographics.
Important Notes:
- Custom Non-Probability Surveys: If you're running a custom non-probability survey, the "Participants," "Results," and "Advanced Results" tabs will remain visible, as these surveys don’t go through the same weighting process.
By removing these tabs for benchmark surveys, Polco ensures that only the fully analyzed and weighted data is presented, reducing any potential confusion or discrepancies between the unweighted and final results.
