In this video, local government professionals at the 2016 League of Women in Government (LWG) Symposium address the low percentage of women holding top city and county CEO/CAO positions in the United States, and share their perspectives on the importance of gender balance and diversity in high-level local government leadership. The LWG Symposium was held in Kansas City, MO, in collaboration with the International City/County Management Association (ICMA) at their 102nd Annual Conference.
