National Research Center, Inc. (NRC) joined alongside world champion public speaker Ryan Avery and founder of “The New Wifestyle” Chelsea Avery to consciously spread kindness throughout the month of August. This month was humbling, exciting, and best of all, full of heart. Here are a few special moments from #31DaysofKindness at NRC.
Donate a book to the library
“I decided, instead of donating to a conventional library, to spread out my gently-used books among the Little Free Libraries around Old Town Longmont. I love these little treasures that allow me to find new stories to tuck into and share my favorites with my neighbors!” – Erin Dixon, Social Media Coordinator
Leave a treat for your mail carrier
NRC staff came together to assemble a goody bag for our mail carrier, who is an important part of our daily success at NRC.
Bring snacks to work to share
The day we got pie! Audrey baked a scrumptious homemade blackberry-apple pie to share with her coworkers. Sorry, we would have saved you a piece, but we could not help ourselves.
Leave an anonymous gift for someone
A couple of lucky NRC staff members received a magical collection of Sturtz and Copeland garden treasures. The secret is still safe on the gifter’s identity.
Create a care package for a solider
“My favorite act of kindness was working with NRC to gather items for a care package and sending it to the troops over-seas. Our box was full of candy, gadgets like earphones and flash drives, hygiene supplies, books and more. I’m sure the recipient will have just as much fun opening the box as we did packing it.” – Angelica Wedell, Marketing and Business Development
August was a chance to choose kindness ever day, and we plan to continue spreading good will throughout our office and our lives.
